If a package is returned to us due to an incorrect address, you will have to pay for shipping a second time.
*EU CUSTOMERS*
Due to upcoming GPSR regulations we have temporarily paused all shipping to the EU until there is more clarification on how this affects small businesses like ours. We will make an announcement if/when we'll be able to resume shipping to the EU. This does not affect orders to the UK with the exception of Northern Ireland. The best way to keep up to date is to sign up for our mailing list!
When will my order ship?
We typically ship 1-2x a week so it may take anywhere from 1-5 business days for us to ship out your order. Please keep in mind we're a two person team so the amount of time may vary depending on the volume of orders.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Domestic: 1-2+ weeks
International: 4-6+ weeks
What if my package is lost or stolen?
Once a package is sent to the post office it's no longer our responsibility; we have no control over the package once it's out of our hands. We recommend you file a claim with the post office in order to resolve your issue. Unfortunately, we're also unable to replace or refund these orders.
What is your return/cancellation/exchange policy?
We do not accept returns or exchanges UNLESS the product is defective or the incorrect item was sent. We try our best to inspect and package every item prior to shipping but we understand that sometimes things happen. Please contact us at shopbirdfolk@gmail.com within 14 days if you need a return or an exchange. We do not offer refunds, returns, or exchanges on international orders.
VAT Taxes/Customs Fees (international/EU customers)
Please keep in mind you may be charged a VAT tax on your order once it clears customs. Any taxes/fees/duties are the customer's responsibility and the order may be returned back to us if the fee(s) aren't paid.
Packaging
We do our best to source packaging that is environmentally friendly!
Paper: packaging stickers, mailers, backing cards, and glassine envelopes are all recyclable
Compostable: shipping labels and clear packaging are all commercially compostable
Misc: Our acrylic keychains are fastened to the backing cards with paper twist ties that have a metal core
Will you be restocking x product?
We recommend signing up for restock notifications; this helps us gauge interest in whether or not we should restock a product. We also aim to have a general collection (which will be restocked regularly) in addition to more limited seasonal releases.
